Within the framework of the European U-17 Championship “Albania 2025”, the interinstitutional working group held its latest meeting at the Elbasan City Hall, one of the four host cities for this major event.
During the meeting, the representatives of AFA presented the issues that require solutions for the “Elbasan Arena,” which were previously identified during the UEFA delegation’s inspection visit. The discussions focused on concrete solutions for preparing the stadium according to international standards.
An important part of the meeting was the city’s branding planning and the creation of a fan zone, with the goal of establishing a festive atmosphere for the citizens and the fans that will take part in the event.
After the meeting, the interinstitutional working group visited the “Elbasan Arena” up close, where they recognized the specific issues that require immediate solutions. From its part, the Elbasan municipality committed to completing the city’s branding and ensuring the full preparation of the stadium for Euro U-17 “Albania 2025”.
In the coming days, the working group will hold a similar meeting in another host city of the Championship.
