The Albanian national team has returned to field preparations after the match against England, played the night before at” Wembley” Stadium.
The red and blacks held a training session at “The Hive” Stadium in London, lasting just over 60 minutes. The players who did not participate in the match and those who played as substitutes had a full-intensity workout, while the starting players focused only on light exercises.
The Communications Department at the AFA informs that goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha, who was substituted during the match against England due to a blow he received during the game, is being continuously monitored by the red and black medical staff. His condition is reported to be good, and the doctors are optimistic that he can recover in time for Monday’s match against Andorra at “Arena Kombëtare”.
The rest of the players have not shown any physical problems and are all ready for the second qualifying match. After the training session, the national team will travel to Albania, where they are expected to arrive in the afternoon.
On Sunday, at 16:45, there will be the official press conference of coach Sylvinho at the “Arena Kombëtare” stadium, followed by the official training session at 17:30, which will be open to the media for the first 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, Andorra will hold their official press conference at 18:15, also at the “Arena Kombëtare” stadium, and their training session will begin at 19:00.
