The countdown has begun, only 11 days separate us from the start of the U-17 European Championship finals “Albania 2025,” and preparations are underway with great intensity. The Football Federation is working intensively to improve the sports infrastructure, with special focus on the stadiums and training grounds that will host this major event.
One of the facilities undergoing significant investments is the “Roza Haxhiu” stadium in Lushnje. The work is nearing completion, and the field is taking its final form. The technical team of the AFA has completed interventions in the irrigation system and is currently in the final phase of planting the turf, to ensure a high-quality and suitable pitch for the participating teams.
This is just one of the venues being prepared to meet the high standards of organization and hospitality. Meanwhile, the arrival of the finalist teams is expected next week, as Albania will become the epicenter of European youth football for several days in a row.
