The Football Association and Macron have announced the new kits that the red and blacks will wear during the FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Led by coach Sylvinho, the players will debut the new kits in the first qualifying match on March 21 against England.
The new kits (red as the primary home shirt, white as the second, and black as the third) feature a unique printed design that, starting from the iconic double-headed eagle, incorporates a rich series of references of natural and cultural elements characteristic of Albania.
Within the design of the eagle, which is present on the sleeves, front, and back of the shirt, many symbols are included, each with a specific meaning: Our double-headed eagle, crafted from details reflecting the beauty, nature, and rich spirit of Albania, carries on its wings the mountain, river, sun, and sea, symbols of the strength and beauty of our life.
This eagle proudly holds up the historic courage of Skanderbeg, reminding us of our deepest traditions, with the opponent in the middle, facing the eyes of the eagle.
An eagle that symbolizes the heart, unity, pride, a bit of cunning, and a deep passion for our players, modern heroes who come from all corners of the world to represent Albania with pride in every challenge on the field.

The first jersey for home matches is in the traditional red color (the color of the Albanian flag) with a red and black stripe on the collar and the edges of the sleeves. The characteristic graphic is printed on the front and back, forming a complete eagle, made up of elements such as Skanderbeg, the mountain, the sea, the ship, the stars, the fox, and more, elements from Albania’s history and folklore throughout the centuries.
On the chest, both printed in silicone, are the Macron Hero on the right and the AFA logo on the left. On the back of the collar, inside, it is personalized with a red tag and details matching the graphic colors on the jersey, featuring the AFA logo, the text “FEDERATA SHQIPTARE E FUTBOLLIT,” the Macron logo, and the phrase “Designed in Bologna,” certifying that every piece is designed, created, and developed at the Macron campus. On the back of the collar, the word “SHQIPËRI” is printed in black. Another personalized detail of the new Albanian National Team jersey is the inner ribbon placed at the back with the phrase “Ti Shqipëri, më jep nder,” followed by the symbol of the double-headed eagle. The first jersey also includes black shorts, which, due to a group of red and black colors at the bottom of the thigh and a segmented profile on the sides, give a stylish look similar to classic basketball shorts. The socks are also black with a red stripe at the top and a black stripe in the middle.
The second and third jerseys reflect exactly the same graphic as the first jersey and are distinguished by their dominant colors: The second jersey is white with red and black details (white shorts with a red and black side stripe, white socks with black side stripes and a red horizontal stripe): The third jersey is black with red details (black shorts and socks with red side stripes). Like all products made by Macron, those for the Albanian National Team are produced in Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester material created from the recycling of post-consumer plastic. Specifically, the material used is Eco Sirena (on the front and sleeves), and the presence of the back panel in Eco Micromesh and components in Eco Mesh ensure high comfort and breathability.
