The Semifinalists of the Albanian Cup for this edition will know their opponents.
On Monday March 10th, 2014, at 11:00 o’clock am in the conferences room of the Albanian Football Federation, was held the lottery of the Cup of Albania. For the semifinal stage of this important competition (second, after the Cup of Albanian), are qualified four teams: Skenderbeu, Teuta, Kukesi and Flamurtari.
Before the present media and representatives of clubs is carried out the lottery procedure. At first, the General Deputy-Secretary of the AFF Mr. Besnik Çela, who led everything, explained how to proceed and then the lottery was held with two semifinalist couples.
Once received consensus from representatives of clubs, Mr. Besnik Çela has called a child to withdraw the lot. At first, was the team of “Kukes” and then “Teuta”. In this manner was determined the first couple. Meanwhile, after proceeding for the second couple, the first team was “Flamurtari” and than “Skenderbeu”.
The first matches will be played on March 26th, 2014 in Kukes, “Kukesi – Teuta” and in Vlora “Flamurtari – Skenderbeu”, while the return matches on April 09th, 2014 in Durres “Teuta – Kukesi” and in Korca, “Skanderbeu – Flamurtari”.
