Albanian legionnaires have registered positive performances with their respective clubs on the international stage.
Julian Shehu continues to be a key figure for Widzew Lodz. After his debut with the national team, the midfielder has found the back of the net in his last two matches, and this weekend, he scored against Lechia Gdansk in Widzew Lodz’s 2-0 victory. In addition to the goal, Shehu played a very strong match and was named Player of the Match, with a rating of 7.9 from the specialized statistics website Sofascore.
Ernest Muçi returned to scoring in Turkey with the Besiktas jersey. The red and black forward scored a beautiful goal in the quarterfinals of the Turkish Cup against Göztepe. However, despite his goal, Besiktas was eliminated after losing 1-3.
Another positive performance in the quarterfinals of the Turkish Cup was recorded by Taulant Seferi with Bodrumspor.
