Kukësi is the winning team of the National Cup for the season 2018-2019. The team from Kukës won the final against Tirana with the result 2-1.
Vasil Shkurtaj scored the first goal in the 4th minute. The first half was concluded with only one goal. In the second half Tirana finds the equalizer with Michael Ngoo in the 66’. The draw would last only 12 minutes because in the 78th minute, Arturo Reginald scores the winning goal for Kukësi.
The match was played at ‘’Elbasan Arena’’ at 19:00.
The medals and the trophy for the winners of the cup were handed over by the President of Albanian Football Association, Mr. Armand Duka, the Vice President of AFA, Mr. Edvin Libohova and the General Secretary, Mr. Ilir Shulku.
Previous to the handing of medals and trophy for the winning team, another award was given for the forward of Kukës, Arturo Reginaldo , that of the Golden Boot. The award was handed by the President of AFA, Mr. Armand Duka.
