Women’s team of Vllaznia has achieved a historic result by qualifying for the UEFA Women’s Champions League, thanks to two wins against Wexford Youth 3-1 and Birkirkaras 1-0 and the draw 1-1 against Gintras, the champion of Lithuania in the 10 group. With this result, Vllaznia is the first Albanian team that passes through this important phase.
The President of the Albanian Football Association, Mr. Armand Duka congratulated the team of Vllaznia, conveying this message: ‘’Bravo Vllazni! Today’s qualification for the UEFA Women’s Champions League is without a doubt a success story that should be followed by everyone and an inspiration souce of inventing more on women’s football. Congratulation to President Metija and the girls from Shkodra that made us proud with their success!’’.
