The President of the Albanian Football Association, Armand Duka, in the role of the Vice Chairman of the HatTrick Committee, is participating at the two-day meeting held in Minsk, a meeting that corresponds with the 15th anniversary of the program created by UEFA back in 2004.
In 15 years of its existence, UEFA’s HatTrick program has financed more than 1300 projects worth 1.8 billion Euro, turning HatTrick in the biggest program of the development of football and solidarity. The project of the new national stadium in Tirana that will be inaugurated on November in the match against France was financed by HatTrick IV program.
During the two-day meeting it was discussed regarding the projects realized by HatTrick I up to HatTrick IV that terminates in 2020, and the launch of HatTrick V that starts in 2020 and will be financed with a budget of 800 million Euro for the 55 members that will apply with their projects. Another discussion point in the meeting of the HatTrick committee was the cooperation with FIFA for the FIFA Forward program that invests for the future of football all over the world.
The financing and funds for the European Union was another topic of the agenda of the committee, where discussions were focused in attracting these funds. During his stay in the Belarusian capital, the heads and members of the HatTrick committee paid a visit to the Training Ground of the Belarusian Football Association.
