Genti Mahmuti has been officially appointed as the new coach of the U-15 national team. The 52-year-old coach returns once again to the red and black bench after previous experiences as assistant coach of the U-19 and U-21 national teams.
In a brief statement to fshf.org, coach Mahmuti expressed his satisfaction and appreciation for returning as a red and black coach.
“It is a pleasure and an honor to return once again to the Football Association, engaged as the coach of the national team. First of all, I want to thank President Armand Duka for the opportunity and recognition by bringing me back into the fold of the national teams. Also, thanks to the technical director for the chance to collaborate with him.
I feel valued being the coach of the U-15 national team. I will give my maximum effort in this new role. Working with children is as beautiful as it is challenging because they require extraordinary dedication, both psychologically and in terms of technical-tactical aspects.”
The Albanian coach also shared his plans and objectives for the future leading the U-15 national team. “This project is characterized by our daily work, and the goal is to increase and develop the children’s qualities. We will try to help them reach as high as possible in the other national youth teams,” said coach Genti Mahmuti to fshf.org.
In addition to the U-15 national team, Genti Mahmuti will also be one of the coaches for the 2011 age group at the “Elite Youth” academy.
