The Albania Football Federation organized a gala evening on the occasion of yearend holidays. The participants were football personalities , representatives of the public life, media etc. Under the sweet sounds of the classical music of the band ‘’Tirana Kafe Koncert’’ the host, the well-known actor Arben Derhemi , and the spokesperson of AFA , Jona Dervishi, the ceremony started with a summary of the successes of Albanian football , culminating with the participation of the national team in final stage of ‘’EURO 2016’’ in France.
Then it was time for the President of the Federation Armand Duka, who praised the achievements of this historic year and declared the targets of the future , and stressed the importance of cooperation and dialogue inside the family for all the problems that Albanian football faces today.
‘’ I urge to incite the constructive debate with each-other , and denounce the negative phenomena’s . This requires patience and calmness. The members of our family should not damage the game or their home, the Federation – underlined President Duka. The ceremony continued with the handling of awards for the renowned figures of Albanian football. With the title ‘’ Honor of the Albanian Football’’ was awarded Safet Berisha (posthumously) and Vasillaq Zeri. With the title ‘’Legend of Albanian Football ‘’ was awarded Mirel Josa, Bardhyl Jera , Ilir Shulku , Robert Jashari , Artan Bushati (posthumously) and Roland Luci. With the title ‘’Pllakate” was awarded Koco Dinella , Pavllo Bukoviku , Roza Haxhiu, Vladimir Ajazi and Roland Iljadhi. Also with an appreciation medal for their contribution was received by the sport’s channel Supersport. With the title ‘’Medal’’ was awarded the national team Shpresa , champion of the Balkan back in 1978. Part of the team that took the medals were Perlat Musta, Ferid Rragami, Halit Gega, Sulejman Starova , Agustin Kola , Andrea Marko , Haxhi Ballgjini, Arben Minga (posthumously) Shyqyri Ballgjini , Dashnor Bajaziti , Ferdinand Lleshi and Hasan Lika, accompanied by both coaches Shyqyri Rreli and Ramazan Rragami. At the end the cheque of 2 milion ALL and the ‘’Golden Ball’’ was handed to the forward of the team of Skenderbeu , Hamdi Salihi. The gala evening was accompanied by the splendid performance of the singer Manjola Nallbani and the lyrical singers Armando Likaj and Arlinda Morava.
