The Albanian Futsal National Team played their next qualifying match today against Armenia, as part of the 2026 European Championship qualifiers.
In the match held in Yerevan, at the “FFA Technical Center Academy,” the Albanian team, coached by Erind Resuli, was defeated 4-0.
The Albanian coach started the match with the following starting lineup: Fidan Misini (GK), Arif Limani, Azem Brahimi (C), Arber Shkodra, Halim Selmanaj, and Ermir Kryeziu.
Armenia scored the first goal in the 16th minute of the first half, with Denis Nevedrov giving the hosts the lead.
Despite the efforts of the Albanian team, Armenia scored a second goal in the 24th minute with Petrosov, and in the 26th minute, Nevedrov netted a third goal. The victory was sealed by Vladimir Sanosyan, who scored the fourth goal in the 36th minute.
The Futsal National Team will play their next qualifying match against Armenia again, on February 5th in Tirana, at 19:00.
Albania is in Group 6 of the qualifiers, alongside Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Denmark.
