The Futsal National Team played today their fifth qualifying match against Kazakhstan, valid for the 2026 European Championship. In the match held at the “Jekpe-Jek Hall” in Astana, the red and blacks were defeated with a score of 4-2. The goals for Albania were scored by Shkodra and Toma.
Coach Resuli started the game with this lineup Fidan Misini (GK), Arif Limani, Arber Shkodra, Halim Selmanaj, Roald Halimi (C).
The Kazakhs scored three goals in the first half. It was Damir Kairbay who opened the scoring, while Leo scored two other goals.
In the second half, Albania reduced the score in the 24th minute with Arber Shkodra. However, Kazakhstan scored the fourth goal with Yesenamanov.
At the end of the match, Albania scored their second goal with Toma. The match ended 4-2 in favor of Kazakhstan.
Albania will play their final qualifying match on April 12 against Denmark in Tirana.
