The Albania U-19 national team will begin preparations tomorrow for two prestigious friendly matches against Italy U-19. Head coach Julian Ahmataj has called up 22 players born in 2007–2008, all of whom have been regularly involved with the national team this year, participating in friendly matches and various selection camps.
The Red and Blacks will start training immediately at the Coverciano training center, while the first match against Italy is scheduled for August 5 at 18:00. The second friendly will take place on August 7 at 11:00.
These two matches represent a valuable opportunity for the coaching staff and players as part of their preparations for the first qualifying round of the UEFA U-19 European Championship. Albania will host Group 5, where they will face Ukraine, Montenegro, and Slovakia in November.
