The First Division season has ended with a dramatic final in Korçë, where Laçi defeated Skënderbeu 0–1 thanks to a goal in the 90+6th minute by Arlind Kurti, securing the championship in the very last moments.
With this victory, Laçi moves to first place with 79 points and is crowned champion of the 2025–2026 season, while Skënderbeu finishes second with 77 points. Both teams had already secured promotion earlier and will compete in the “Abissnet Superiore” next season.
At the end of the match, the Albanian Football Association organized the official championship ceremony. AFA President Armand Duka awarded medals and the trophy to the Laçi squad in a festive atmosphere, concluding a tightly contested championship that went down to the final seconds.
The First Division season was marked by strong rivalry and intense emotions, with the title being decided only in the final act, further adding to the value of Laçi’s achievement.
