The grand final of “Final 4” in the “Abissnet Superiore” championship will be judged by a foreign referee with a lot of experience in the European arena
The Department of Communication in the Albanian Football Association informs that an agreement has been reached, that the grand final of “Final 4” where the champion team of this season in the “Abissnet Superiore” championship will be determined, will be led by the English referee, Anthony Taylor.
The AFA also informs that Anthony Taylor’s assistants in the grand final on May 26 will be foreigners and in the following days the selected names will be announced.
The 45-year-old long-time FIFA referee has a rich career in the world of football as he officiates high-level matches in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and more.
Anthony Taylor has also refereed several important finals, where it is worth mentioning last year’s final in the UEFA Europa League, Sevilla – Rome, the final match of the FIFA Club World Cup in the 2022/2023 season, Real Madrid – Al-Hilal, the meeting UEFA Nations League final of the 2020/2021 season, Spain – France, the final challenge of the UEFA Super Cup 2020/2021, Bayern Munich – Sevilla, etc.
The English referee recently officiated the first semi-final meeting in the UEFA Champions League, Borussia Dortmund – PSG.
“Final 4” is the novelty of this season in the “Abissnet Superiore” championship and the AFA has given maximum importance to these matches, to conclude the football season in the right way.
