Below is the full letter from the FIFA President addressed to President Duka in honor of Sabah Bizi.
In memory of Sabah Bizi
Dear President,
I would like to express my sincerest and heartfelt condolences on the passing of former international player, Sabah Bizi. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel for this loss.
During his international career, Sabah Bizi was capped 15 times by his national team. At club level he will be remembered for his long career with KF VIlaznia, where he won three league titles, as well as for his time with KF Partizani. After retiring, he continued to be involved with KF Vllaznia, in various roles.
Legend of Albanian football and icon of KF VIlaznia, his legacy and trajectory on and off the pitch will not be forgotten, and he will be truly missed.
On behalf of the international football community, I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the Football Association of Albania, and to Sabah Bizi’s family, friends and loved ones. Our thoughts are with all of you.
We hope that these memories and our words of support may help bring some peace and solace at this difficult time.
Yours sincerely,
Gianni Infantino
