The working group assigned to this major event held its latest meeting today, focusing on several important topics aimed at organizing and promoting the UEFA U-17 European Championship “Albania 2025” in the best possible way.
Regarding infrastructure, work has also begun at the “Niko Dovana” stadium. The Football Federation is investing in the construction of the metal framework for the TV cameras, wall refinishing, internal doors and windows, painting, electrical installations, sanitation works, and furniture.
Additionally, another working group from UEFA is expected to arrive in Albania soon to closely observe the sports facilities.
The selection of the mascot that will represent Albania at this European Championship, the communication strategy for media coverage, ticketing, the draw, and many other topics were discussed at this meeting.
On Monday, the selected mascot will be presented on the official social media channels of the Albanian Football Federation, and a public discussion will be opened to choose the name of the mascot that will accompany our national team at the UEFA U-17 European Championship “Albania 2025”.
