For the first time in the history of Albanian football, this year we have a female referee that will bear the stamp of FIFA. She is Emanuela Rusta, a talented referee from the Elbasani referee school that broke the all the barriers and will represent Albanian football at international arenas.
In Lisbon are being held seminars and theoretic and physical tests with the new FIFA referees, males and females. 38 females referees participated at the physical tests. Only four of them managed to pass them and Emanuela Rusta excelled and received maximal results. Today was held the test of the Rules of the Game, where Emanuela received great results.
The excellent results of Emanuela Rusta show once more the increase of the level of Albanian referees, and the huge development that women’s football has undergone, where Rusta has refereed championship matches and cup ones.
