Egnatia is crowned Albanian champion for the 2025/2026 season, and President Duka presents the trophy at Elbasan Arena

Egnatia are the champions of Albania for the 2025/2026 season. The team from Rrogozhinë secured its third consecutive title in the Abissnet Superiore after defeating Dinamo City 2–0 in the final match of the “Final Four” stage, played at Elbasan Arena.

The standout performer of the match was Alessandro Albanese, who scored both goals for Egnatia. The forward opened the scoring in the 29th minute from the penalty spot and added a second goal ten minutes later, sealing his team’s victory.

At the same time, the other “Final Four” match between Vllaznia and AF Elbasani was played at Air Albania Stadium. AF Elbasani came from behind to win 2–1. Bekim Balaj gave Vllaznia the lead in the 49th minute, but AF Elbasani responded with goals from Xhonatan Lajthia and Abbas Ibrahim to complete the comeback.

AF Elbasani finished the “Final Four” stage level on points with Egnatia, both collecting 37 points, but the Rrogozhinë side secured the championship thanks to a superior head-to-head goal difference.

Vllaznia finished third with 31 points, while Dinamo City placed fourth with 27 points.

With this success, Egnatia will represent Albania in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. Meanwhile, AF Elbasani, Dinamo City, and Vllaznia will begin their European campaigns in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

Following the match at Elbasan Arena, the official medal and trophy presentation ceremony took place. Among those present were Armand Duka, President of the Albanian Football Association, and Ilir Shulku, the Association’s General Secretary.

President Duka presented the championship medals and trophy to Egnatia, who crowned another successful season in Albanian football.
