The National Team’s coach, Sylvinho, and his technical staff, Doriva and Zabaleta, continue to stay in Italy and were present in Bergamo, at the “Gewiss Stadium”, for the Cup of Italy match between Atalanta and Bologna.
The National Team’s technical staff observed closely the performance of Albania’s captain, Berat Gjimshiti, and after the match they held a meeting with him.
The focus of the discussions was his season progress with Atalanta and the new journey of the Albanian national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Additionally, coach Silvinho and his assistants, Doriva and Zabaleta, congratulated Gjimshiti for winning the “National Team Player of the Year” award at the “Golden Ball 2024” gala organized by the Football Association.
