As we approach the final stage of the “Abissnet Superiore” championship and the “Final 4” phase, the Refereeing Sector of the AFA has organized an event with all the referees of the Superiore at the “House of Football”.
The goal of this event was to better prepare the referees for the upcoming matches and to discuss game situations and the psychological impact on all the involved actors.
Initially, the referees held a training session led by athletic trainers, a session that had a more relaxing and recreational character.
The session continued with a discussion between the referees, the leaders of the Refereeing Department, and psychologist Lenida Halilaj.
In this discussion, each referee shared their thoughts on communication with colleagues, balancing personal life with professional life, and the challenges of the job.
Considering that we are in the final phase of the “Abissnet Superiore,” a significant focus was given to how referees manage unexpected situations on the field, staying objective despite external pressures, and the impact of media and social networks on stress levels.
