The Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Association, in its meeting held today, reviewed and unanimously approved the proposal of President Armand Duka regarding the candidacy that the Albanian FA will support for the position of UEFA President.
This decision comes as an expression of the highest appreciation for the leadership, vision and contribution of President Čeferin to the development of European football over the past years.
The Albanian FA believes that the continuity of UEFA’s leadership by Aleksander Čeferin will guarantee stability, progress and further support for all member associations.
The 51st UEFA Congress, where the elections for the President and members of the UEFA Executive Committee will be held on 22 April 2027, in Astana, Kazakhstan.
