The Albania U-19 national team won the second friendly against North Macedonia U-19 with a minimal 1-0 victory. The match, played at the “Skënderbeu” stadium, was decided by Leart Krasniqi’s goal in the 73rd minute.
Coach Julian Ahmataj started the match against North Macedonia with the following starting lineup: Daniel Culi (GK), Yoni El Malem, Diart Gashi, Leon Sylejmani, Ardi Mulaj, Matia Huqi (C), Besalet Krasniqi, Leart Krasniqi, Oresti Rifa, Tedi Malaj, and Devid Hoxha.
The first half of the match did not produce any goals, despite Albania creating some good opportunities.
In the second half, the match was decided by forward Leart Krasniqi, who did everything right in the 73rd minute, sending the ball into the net.
In this match, coach Ahmataj also introduced Ron Isa, Kleo Shpuza, Bjorni Duka, and Rinaldo Nela.
Until the end, nothing changed in the score, and the match ended with Albania’s 1-0 victory.
The two friendlies against North Macedonia served to test the group of players gathered and assess the team’s condition.
