The Football Association, under the leadership of President Armand Duka, welcomed the President of the Moldovan Football Federation, Leonid Oleinicenco, together with a broad delegation from the federation and representatives of Moldovan government institutions, for a three-day visit to Tirana.
This official visit focused on the exchange of experiences regarding the development of sports infrastructure, with special emphasis on the construction and management model of the national stadium “Air Albania”. The Moldovan delegation was presented with an integrated legal, economic, and construction approach that made possible the realization of one of the most important sports projects in the region.
During their stay in Tirana, the Moldovan representatives were closely introduced to the successful cooperation model between the Association, state institutions, and the private sector, considering this project as a concrete reference for similar developments in Moldova.
The “Air Albania” Stadium, inaugurated in 2019, continues to attract international interest as a success story in sports infrastructure, positioning Albania as a positive example in the region and beyond.
