AFA, MEETING WITH THE POLICE AND THE RED&BLACK FANS, PRESIDENT DUKA: ‘’ A NEW AND NECESSARY CLIMATE OF COOPERATION!’’.

The Albanian Football Association remains committed for an intensive and cooperative report with the fan group ‘’Red&Black Fans’’. Considering this, this Saturday at the offices of AFA a special meeting was held between the parties, with the presence of the President of AFA, Mr. Armand Duka, Deputy General Director of State Police, Mr. Gjovalin Loka, General Secretary of AFA, Mr. Ilir Shulku, and a group representing the Red&Black Fan group. This initiative that will stretch even further, always in the framework of a great cooperation spirit, but even in service of the progress and security during the matches of the national team.

President of AFA, Mr. Duka, together with the official of the State Police, and the representatives of ‘’Red&Black Fans’’, achieved a full compromise for many discussion points that are directly connected with the relationship association-police-fans, in order to demonstrate a correct behavior of the fans in the stadium.

President Duka noted this even during the press release, stressing that : ‘’ I believe that his was a necessary meeting with the fan group and the representatives of the police for the requests of the fans, for the played matches, and for the others in the future, for the behavior of the police and the organization of the matches. We shared the same ideas, for a common aim, helping the national team. Now we have a new climate of cooperation for making things better. Maybe we cannot achieve the ideal 100%, but things will be done even better and the fans will be present in the stadium in the future.

They have their request, or difficulties, but they want to be at the stadium and I believe that they will be present regularly. On the other side, the police guaranteed correct behavior, less presence or no presence at the stands, but couldn’t promise more that the implementation of the law correctly. And for this the understanding will be thorough. The fans require lifting the collective punishment, and apply individual punishments instead, and displayed their requests towards AFA and the State Police’’.
Meanwhile, the deputy General Director of the State Police, Mr. Gjovalin Loka stressed the necessity of such meeting. He guaranteed the representatives of TKZ for the correctness of the blue uniforms:

‘’The police force is interested for cooperating with the fan group. I guarantee that the better the fans , the better the climate, for a positive continuation, in order to avoid any kind of misunderstanding for possible incident. I praise such discussions, and we are ready for every other initiative in function of the security of the international matches and for the public safety’’. There will be such meetings in the future between the parties for pointing out the details, in order to preserve the cooperation climate.
