The Football Association has implemented during this season one of the biggest historic investment programs in sports infrastructure, with a total of about 8.5 million euros spent on various projects throughout the country.
The invested fund has been focused on the construction and reconstruction of stadiums, building new fields, improving existing infrastructure, as well as significant interventions within the framework of the UEFA European U-17 Championship held in Albania in May-June 2025.
Among the most important projects where AFA has invested during this year are mentioned the “Egnatia” stadium in Rrogozhinë, the stadium of Vorë and that of Besa in Kavajë, as well as the stadiums in Gramsh and Përmet. Also, renovations of fields have been carried out in Elbasan (the sports complex “Shefqet Lamçja”), Korçë, Krujë, Gjirokastër and Durrës.
Within the framework of the “100 fields” project, during this season two new fields have been built on the premises of the House of Football, the training field of the “Dinamo City” complex in Arbanë has been inaugurated, as well as several projects with social character supporting the initiative “Different Weekend” and in the Parish “Shna Prenda” in Shkodër.
Also, a new field has been inaugurated in cooperation with the “Soccer Star” academy in Shtoj of Shkodër, while new fields are under construction in Gjirokastër, Prrenjas and Librazhd.
From this total investment amount, over 6.2 million euros have been financed directly by AFA, while the rest has been realized in cooperation with the federation’s strategic partners.
