The Albanian Football Association honored the renowned referee, Xhavit Fagu, in his 85th birth anniversary. In the name of President Duka, General Secretary of AFA, Ilir Shkulku handed to the former referee the title ‘’Gratitude’’ during a ceremony held on Saturday.
Congratulating Mr Fagu for his birthday, Shulku praised the great contribution of Fagu during his national and international career. Xhavit Fagu is born in 1934 in Tirana and is widely known for the sport’s community of Tirana as one of the most distinguished figures.
As a honor for the figure of Xhavit Fagu, a competition was held in Tirana, with the participation of representatives of Albanian televisions.
