The works for the reconstruction of the natural grass pitch at the “Shefqet Lamçja” Sports Complex are moving toward the final phase. The construction of the base has now been completed, and work has been carried out on the modern drainage system, water reservoir, and irrigation system.
The month of March is considered the most suitable period for sowing the seeds and planting the natural grass, which will give the pitch its final form.
In parallel with the reconstruction of the field, the Municipality of Elbasan has invested in improving the facilities of the complex, including the locker rooms, which now offer more functional and modern conditions for athletes.
This investment is part of a broader strategy for the development of sports infrastructure in the country, with work being carried out simultaneously on several football fields, both through the construction of new facilities and the modernization of existing ones. The goal is to create the highest possible quality conditions for footballers and the further development of Albanian football.
