The women’s national team held their official training session this afternoon at the Nikšić Stadium ahead of their match against Montenegro, the first game of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers. The squad is complete and in good physical condition for this important encounter.
A day before the match, coach Armir Grima, in a statement to fshf.org, expressed optimism about the team’s condition and the clear objective of starting the qualifying campaign with a win.
“I think we are well-prepared, both physically and tactically, for this match. We went through some flu-related issues with the girls, but now we are complete, and the goal is always to start off on the right foot.
We want to begin these qualifiers strongly. We have come to win this match. We’ve worked hard in recent days and will give our best. Tomorrow we will fight to win the game.”
The Red and Black coach also emphasized the importance of team spirit and on-field cooperation.
“The girls will try to give what they have shown in their best matches, which is teamwork and collaboration. If we can deliver this and fight 100% in every corner of the field, we will come out of this match with our heads held high,” concluded coach Grima.
The match Montenegro – Albania will take place tomorrow in Nikšić at 14:00 and will be broadcast live on FSHF TV.
