The year 2025 has started on a high note for Albanian footballers abroad, who have stood out with their performances and contributions on the field.
In Besiktas’ first match of the year, Ernest Muçi was immediately in the spotlight, scoring a fantastic goal. The Albanian forward, who started as a starter against Rizespor, equalized in the dying moments of the first half at the 45+3 minute mark. The second half didn’t produce any goals, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the Turkish league, the year also began well for Taulant Seferi. The Albanian striker provided an assist in Bodrumspor’s 1-1 draw against Kayserispor. Seferi accurately passed the ball to his teammate Cenk Sen in the 76th minute, helping to level the score.
Nedim Bajrami also provided an assist in Rangers’ away match against Hibernian. The Albanian midfielder started the match and set up Igamane in the 19th minute, giving Rangers a 2-0 lead. However, the game ended in a 3-3 draw.
Other Albanian legionnaires also contributed with their teams, while in some European and global leagues, the football season has yet to start.
